Sizing Instructions
SIZE MATTERS! To ensure a proper fit (and to ensure the boots stay on) it is important to measure your dog's paws. Don't assume paw size is based on your dog's overall size...make sure to measure using our easy directions below.
Bark'n Boots are built to secure around the ankle but below the carpal pad (the small pad about ankle-high on the dog's leg.) The boot should have room in the paw area, allowing the paw to spread when bearing weight.
Measuring Paw Width
- Have your dog stand on a firm surface (wood, linoleum, or concrete).
- Place a piece of blank paper under a front paw.
- Lift the dog's other front paw so that its weight is placed firmly on the paw being measured.
- Mark the paper at the paw's widest point on the left and right edges of the paw (see graphic).
- Use a ruler to measure the distance (in inches) from the left mark to the right mark on the paper.
- Use the chart below to determine the proper size. For example: if the width is measured between 2.25" and 2.5" (57-64 mm), the dog would wear a small boot; between 2.75" and 3.0" (70-76 mm), a large.

Excellent
We purchased the Skyliner boots to protect our dogs feet during the cold, snowy, icy, winter months. We've used them numerous times so far and they have proven invaluable. The boots are comfortable enough for 60 minute walks and rarely, if ever fall off. They keep our pups paws dry and warm. She loves these boots!
